Two weeks talking copper, and working from fantastic viewpoints, but for hours on end. Food experiences that are best not repeated, a cultural exchange visit that consisted of 2 hours of drumming, all enthusisatically executed somewhat out of time. And the missed trip to the DMZ was no loss, given there had been a short notice closure of some of the attractions. French restaurant in Seoul, Spanish restaurant in Shanghai, and Italian in Tokyo... An odd cultural clash that denied any real taste... But perspective is an amazing thing.

Here's Seoul on a grey day from the top of the hill.
Two days of sashimi to come. Surviving the degre of paranoia regarding a visit to Osaka and the swine flu outbreak amongst high school volleyball teams might be more difficult than the illness itself. And Tokyo descends into self-protection, but all is fine from Level 28.
