Nine Inch Nails at Fort Canning Park to start the week. An intense and uncompromising gig, with expectation met. No cheerful dialogue, no banter - hard white lights, poweful sound, and a strangely optimistic vibe amidst the darkness.
After being given a fantastic free VIP pass by a very kind Indonesian family, courtesy of hard rock cafe, we viewed the first half of the gig from the balcony supported by Mojitos. Then down to the side of the stage where things got very messy...
And if anyone can tell me why Gene Simmons was there in the dark sipping waters in a leather jacket I would greatly appreciate it!
